Several weeks ago, my parents asked me to write an original poem as Santa’s prayer to God about Christmas. When children understand that Santa gives gifts in honor of God’s gift to us all, it’s a launchpad to involving them in “secret giving” to friends, family, and those in need. Here’s what I came up with.
The concept of Santa kneeling before the figure of baby Jesus is one my parents absolutely love. I’ve tried to capture this image twice in previous years, but as my photography skill improved, I was finally able to create the image I had in my head all along.
I have the cutest parents in the world. I know I’m biased, but seriously … when you’re the offspring of Santa and Mrs. Claus, how can you help it?!?

Since my marriage in 2008, I’m Angie Flinn Key (not hyphenated, please; “Flinn” is now legally my middle name).
